This anthology brings together two legendary live sessions recorded by the Stranglers for the BBC’s John Peel Sessions, during 1977.

Caught between their rough live energy and studio precision, these recordings are among the most potent demonstrations of the band’s early sound.

Here, the opening side presents the Stranglers’ performance recorded at Broadcasting House, in London, on 1 March 1977. The second side captures the band’s set, once again recorded at Broadcasting House, on 30 August 1977.
